Tonight, I was fortunate to attend a truly remarkable concert by my favorite singer/songwriter, David Gray. Generally speaking, I let life unfold without a lot of expectations, but since I’ve seen David perform 3 times before, I couldn’t help but expect to experience something amazing.
He did not disappoint tonight.
In fact, there is no way I could have imagined a concert this incredible.
It was literally THAT good.
It’s really quite remarkable how collaboration and open communication can bring about positive shifts in the world. In the past couple of weeks, a series of connections and opportunities have opened up that have left me in awe over how perfect the universe can be with orchestrating an intended outcome.

The world is full of incredible people with really great ideas. I see them and hear them every day. On top of that, the opportunities for people to connect and share stories, experiences, and ideas is unparalleled in human history.
I recently wrote about hearing Stillness Speaks by Eckart Tolle, where he talks about the rising consciousness in our culture that is occurring at the same time that those who cling to the old way continue to get louder and louder. Today I want to share about something a little bit different. It’s Father’s Day and also the day where I do a deeper dive into something I’m grateful for. I can’t think of a better topic than to celebrate the wonderful man that I’m proud to call my Dad.
Dad wasn’t born into a privileged family, but worked hard to pull himself up and get an education. He was good in sports, and was well liked amongst his friends. To this day, he’s still the center of attention at most family functions and gatherings with friends. Going all in is a concept that continues to come up as I move through my journey. I’ve been hearing it over and over again by very inspiring people that I greatly admire.
Most recently, I attended a talk by Pete Bethune last night, where he talked about leadership, risk, and doing things that make a big impact in the world. Pete is the man that decided he wanted to break the world record for circumnavigating the globe in a powerboat. But not just any powerboat, one that was fueled 100% by biodiesel. My kind of guy!
Pete’s story is a remarkable example of an individual that embarked on a quest and learned so much along the way that it has altered the trajectory of not only his life, but the lives of countless people and animals the world over. Continue Reading…
