Social Media Strategy

Celebrating and a New Offering

Helping Hand

Today is a big day for me and my business as I officially launch my newly designed website/blog. This coincides with some other shifts in my business focus that have also been in the works for several months. Here’s the short version:

I provide digital marketing and social media strategy for businesses and mindful organizations that want to make the world a better place.

I help navigate the waters of the web and social media, and provide relatable, easy-to-follow, and timely strategic advice that allow these businesses and organizations to grow without fretting over their online marketing efforts.

My continued emphasis is on working with clients that have elements of social good, sustainability, and environmental stewardship as core parts of their businesses. I have found that working with individuals and businesses that have this type of sensibility is much more rewarding for me.

To celebrate the new website launching, I wanted to take this a step further and introduce a new initiative. An Hour A Week For Social Good is my way of providing additional support to entrepreneurs and socially conscious companies that are seeking to have a meaningful impact in the world and in the communities in which they operate.

Helping HandI am offering one hour of complimentary digital marketing and social media strategic consulting time each week to this initiative, in addition to the ongoing service work I conduct in my own life. This is normally a $250 paid service.

I want to be able to show how much can be accomplished in an hour of strategic dialogue, and help the organizations out there that might feel stuck in their online marketing and social media initiatives. I believe strongly that by giving this time, I will have a much broader platform for reaching new clients that have a similar mission and view of the world as I do.

Check out the application page if you think it’s something you would be interested in applying for. Or even if this is not a good fit for you, I’m betting you know someone who would appreciate this service. If you need additional support and would like to engage on a deeper level, I offer services ranging from one-hour calls to full social media strategic planning. These services are outlined here.

Also, if you haven’t subscribed to my blog updates via email yet, please consider joining today. When you subscribe, I will send you my guide to Optimizing Web Content for Social Sharing free for signing up.  The guide will give you ideas for making your web content easier to share and thus driving more traffic to your website, Facebook page, or wherever you are looking to gain traction. You can subscribe at the bottom of this post or on the right column of the site.

And special thanks to the Judi and Krichele over at New Tricks who are responsible for the new website design. If you need to give your digital presence a boost, give them a shout. They specialize in WordPress websites and have been a joy to work with on this project.

So, what to you think about the site and/or the new service initiative? If you have a minute, please leave me a comment below and let me know.

Thanks for helping me celebrate the launch of my new site!

    Brandon,
I dig your swerve dude. Putting your money (time) where your mouth is takes guts. Real guts. It is amazing what a little here and a little there can do. We used to volunteer at a nursing home (until it shut down). We were able to share the gift of music. It didn’t impact the whole world. But, it did have a wonderful impact on a few folks before their number was called. More importantly, it impacted us. Keep up the good work my brother.

Thanks Rob – I really appreciate the thoughts. It is indeed amazing what seemingly small things can do to help others. The only thing I disagree with you on is your point about your work in the nursing home not impacting the whole world. I think you absolutely impacted the whole world! 🙂 The impact that we have by serving others in this way creates a ripple effect outward from ourselves and those we touch. We don’t always know how these small actions will affect the world, but I believe strongly that they do. Thanks again for the comment.

Dynamic! Yes, and more. But your energy comes across in everything you do (and say). Thanks for pulling me along in this journey as you energize mine!
